Short Bio
Ari is a current Nashville-based bassist (both acoustic and electric) with the ability to adapt to any music genre thrown at her. Whether that’s jazz, folk, R&B, etc., she can play it. With a deep devotion to ensemble work and long-term growth, she brings warmth and purpose into her musical journey. Ari shares her story on stage and in the studio with clarity, humor, and heart. During her time at Belmont University, Ari has performed and won the Belmont Christian Showcase alongside Sammi-Accola in 2022 and Amanda Aponte in 2023.
Long Bio
Ari is a Nashville-based bassist whose musicality connects different genres and communities. Being a classically-trained and growing into the jazz and folk traditions, she brings a versatile approach to every collaboration. Her performance is manifested by clarity, warmth, and a huge respect for the role of the bass as both the foundation and storyteller.
This has led to a deep commitment to long-term growth. Ari creates her routines around balance – fulfilling both discipline and personal well-being. She adapts her practice to support her artistry and refines her technique while conserving the energy that fuels her. Whether it’s preparing for orchestra pieces or exploring new grooves to a new jazz/folk song, this type of balance allows her to approach each project with focus, adaptability, and creativity.
Outside of her academics and ensembles, Ari shares her storytelling through creativity, combining humor and honesty across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Her content reflects the day in the life of a musician, showing a glimpse of her routines and her personality outside of the music world. She’s passionate about making music feel more approachable and human, inviting others into her journey with warmth and vulnerability.
As she continues to grow as a performer and creator, Ari remains dedicated to authenticity, versatility, and connection. Her work reflects who she is as a bassist, not just as a foundation but as a voice to build connections between genres, stories, and communities.
